JW Marriott Palm Desert is currently hiring for a full-time Housekeeping position. This non-management role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the hotel is known for. The position offers an hourly wage of $21.75 and requires open availability, although related work experience is preferred. Employees in this role will support the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards. They will promptly respond to guest requests and collaborate effectively with other departments to address maintenance and service needs.

The Housekeeping team member will be responsible for identifying maintenance issues and reporting them quickly to prevent disruption to guests' experiences. They will manage housekeeping equipment, arrange furniture as needed, and maintain safety protocols throughout their duties. Physical demands of the role include extensive walking, bending, lifting of objects up to 55 pounds unaided, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Employees will also be expected to safely navigate slippery or uneven surfaces and stairs while completing their responsibilities.
