The role of Housekeeping Aide at Autumn Woods Healthcare Facility is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the establishment. The aide is responsible for ensuring that all resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, bathrooms, and hallways are clean, sanitized, and sanitary at all times. This position operates with a keen awareness of infection control protocols and safety practices, including the correct usage and storage of cleaning chemicals and the proper handling and disposal of infectious waste. The Housekeeping Aide must carry out their duties in strict accordance with the company’s code of business conduct, compliance agreements, and relevant federal and state regulations.

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other facility areas
  • safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them securely
  • label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
  • perform other assigned tasks
  • conduct job responsibilities in accordance with company’s code of business conduct and policies
  • comply with federal and state laws and professional standards
  • communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff
