Job Requirements

Must be able to read, write and comprehend basic written instructions in English
must comprehend verbal instructions and communicate in English
3+ months cleaning experience preferred
work requires basic analytical ability
ability to safely move, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
experience working with cleaning chemicals
ability to perform repetitive cleaning motions

Job Duties

Receives cleaning assignments and requests cleaning materials
mixes cleaning solutions and loads service cart
cleans assigned areas using germicidal solutions
strips, cleans and makes beds upon patient dismissal
sweeps, mops, vacuums and buffs floors
cleans and maintains sanitation equipment
visually inspects areas after cleaning
returns unused supplies and cleans equipment
performs heavy-duty floor and carpet cleaning
washes and disinfects walls, windows and doors
gathers and disposes of refuse safely
moves furniture and equipment using dollies
