Job Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- Selective Service registration for males born after December 31, 1959
- Successful completion of background and security investigation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical
- Willingness to participate in seasonal influenza vaccination program
- Ability to complete online onboarding and provide acceptable identification documents
- Physical ability to perform continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushing
- Capacity to handle equipment weighing over 50 pounds
- Adherence to safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions

- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Perform light and heavy cleaning duties in patient rooms, wards, restrooms, and other hospital areas
- Sweep, mop, scrub floors using machines and vacuum carpets and upholstery
- Empty waste baskets and dispose of trash properly
- Clean light globes and Venetian blinds
- Wash walls, windows, and ceilings using ladders
- Refill toilet tissue and towel dispensers
- Move furniture and install light bulbs as necessary
