Job Requirements

U.S. citizen, national or owe allegiance to the U.S.
Ability to meet physical requirements including continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushing
Willingness to work multiple shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Capability to use heavy powered cleaning equipment weighing over 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
Willingness to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather
Care to avoid injury when handling hazardous materials and equipment
Compliance with PPE requirements when exposed to contagious diseases
Detailed resume showing relevant skills and experience
Meet screen-out elements including dexterity, safety, ability to follow directions, reliability, and work practices

Job Qualifications

No specific length of training or experience required
Evidence of training or experience demonstrating ability to perform housekeeping duties
Ability to follow directions and maintain reliability and dependability
Dexterity, hand, foot, and eye coordination
Visual acuity to detect dirt, dust, and debris
Ability to safely handle weights and operate cleaning equipment
Aptitude for housekeeping work and consistent work practices
Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, dusting, sanitizing, decontaminating, and disinfecting
Clean wards, patient rooms, storerooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and shower rooms
Address spills quickly and discard trash
Install and replace light bulbs in halls and rooms
Vacuum carpets and polish floors
Wash walls, windows, and ceilings using ladders
Refill toilet tissue and towel dispensers
Move furniture as necessary
Operate heavy powered cleaning equipment with care
Carry out assignments with minimal supervision
