This full-time Housekeeping & Laundry position at the Courtyard by Marriott is a non-management role with a competitive pay rate of $22.50 per hour. The position focuses on maintaining clean, orderly, and welcoming environments throughout the hotel to ensure guests receive a superior hospitality experience. Responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of cleaning and upkeep duties including guest room service, attention to common areas, and responding to guest requests promptly and efficiently. Employees in this role, referred to as Guest Environment Specialists, take pride in their work, which goes beyond simply making beds or cleaning rooms. They are empowered to proactively manage tasks, restock cleaning carts, and support other functions that maintain the hotel’s appearance and safety. The role demands physical activity such as standing, walking for extended periods, moving objects up to 50 pounds, lifting, pushing, and carrying items safely without assistance.

In addition, for success in this role, employees must adhere to safety guidelines, follow company policies, preserve confidentiality, maintain high standards of quality, and present a professional appearance in uniform and communication.
