Located at 500 W 3rd St, Covington, Kentucky, the Courtyard is seeking to add dedicated Guest Environment Experts to its team. This position is a full-time, non-management role offering a competitive pay range of $14.50 to $15.00 per hour, with eligibility for tips. The primary responsibility of the Guest Environment Expert is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout the hotel, contributing directly to an outstanding guest experience. This role involves much more than routine housekeeping; it is about creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for each guest.

As a Guest Environment Expert, the individual will be skilled in numerous housekeeping functions, including cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and supporting various operational needs within the hotel. They will be empowered to move freely around their assigned areas, efficiently taking care of necessary tasks such as delivering guest requests, stocking carts, and ensuring all spaces reflect the Courtyard’s commitment to excellence. This hands-on role demands physical activity, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Success in this position depends not only on technical housekeeping skills but also on adherence to critical practices such as maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding confidentiality, and consistently meeting quality standards. Additionally, the Guest Environment Expert must present themselves professionally, which includes maintaining an appropriate uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
