The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and the overall upkeep of guest rooms and hotel facilities. As a Housekeeping Attendant at The Westin St. Francis, you will play a crucial part in delivering superior hospitality services that enhance the guest experience. Your responsibilities will include completing detailed cleaning checklists, inspecting guest rooms after cleaning, ensuring all rooms meet the hotel's rigorous quality standards, and responding promptly to guest and departmental requests. You will also be expected to report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately and follow company protocols rigorously to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Enter the status of cleaned rooms in the assignment sheets
  • complete checklists to report cleaning and condition of assigned areas
  • complete housekeeping paperwork
  • identify room assignments and the cleaning class required
  • inspect guest rooms after cleaning by the housekeeper
  • promptly respond to guest and departmental requests
  • follow procedures for entering guest rooms ensuring privacy and vacancy before entry
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees
  • comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • report any maintenance, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • protect company property and maintain privacy of information
  • support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
