Job Duties
- Enter the status of cleaned rooms in the assignment sheets
- complete checklists to report cleaning and condition of assigned areas
- complete housekeeping paperwork
- identify room assignments and the cleaning class required
- inspect guest rooms after cleaning by the housekeeper
- promptly respond to guest and departmental requests
- follow procedures for entering guest rooms ensuring privacy and vacancy before entry
- assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees
- comply with company safety policies and procedures
- report any maintenance, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- protect company property and maintain privacy of information
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- help the team achieve common goals
- meet quality assurance standards
- move quickly to respond to work situations
- inspect tools, equipment or machines visually
- enter and locate job-related information using computers or point of sale systems
- handle objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees including bending and twisting
- maneuver in narrow, confined or elevated spaces
- walk on inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces and stairways
- stand, sit, kneel or walk for long periods
- listen and respond appropriately to coworkers
- communicate clearly and professionally
- perform other reasonable work tasks as requested by supervisors
