Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals
- Must have availability to work weekends
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly without compromising quality
- Physical stamina to perform frequent bending, kneeling, and walking about 80 percent of the time
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning duties throughout the store including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly, restocking supplies
- Clean and maintain break rooms and hospitality spaces, ensuring areas are tidy and properly stocked
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a safe and sanitary manner
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and promptly cleaning spills or debris
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when low
- Participate in special cleaning projects including deep cleaning, floor waxing, and window cleaning
- Assist in maintaining a positive shopping environment by ensuring store cleanliness
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in handling and storing cleaning supplies
- Must be available to work weekends
