The position being offered is that of a Guest Environment Expert in the Housekeeping and Laundry category at Residence Inn by Marriott Tallahassee. This is a full-time, non-management role with an hourly pay range between $14.25 and $14.70. The Guest Environment Expert plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and overall guest satisfaction. Beyond simply cleaning rooms and preparing beds, this role entails creating memorable and unique experiences for guests. The Guest Environment Expert is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that every area in the hotel, from guest rooms to public spaces, meets the highest level of cleanliness and appearance. The role includes various hands-on tasks such as delivering guest requests, restocking carts, cleaning rooms, and maintaining shared areas.

Essential to the success in this role is the ability to take initiative and work autonomously within the hotel space while adhering to safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards. The physical demands of the job include being on one’s feet for extended periods, walking, standing, sitting, as well as lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
