The role available within this dynamic health system is for a Cleaning Services professional who will be responsible for maintaining sanitary, safe, and attractive conditions throughout the hospital environment. The position involves performing both basic and specialty cleaning tasks in various hospital areas including patient rooms, offices, hallways, floors, and other public spaces. The individual in this role ensures the upkeep of high standards of hygiene critical to hospital operations to protect patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities extend to the collection and transport of both infectious and regular waste and may include linen management tasks such as unloading, replenishing, and distributing linen supplies as well as removing soiled linen. Working independently yet adhering strictly to the Florida Hospital Services (FHS) standards and procedures, this position requires dedication to compliance with hospital safety protocols, risk management, and infection control policies, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper hand hygiene practices.
