Job Description
The Pennant Group, Inc. is a well-established holding company that oversees multiple independent subsidiaries specializing in healthcare services, including home health, hospice care, and senior living communities across the United States. Each subsidiary operates autonomously, with its own management, employees, and resources, yet benefits from the larger organization's commitment to excellence and community-centered care. The Pennant Group is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by providing compassionate, comprehensive, and personalized care through its various senior living communities. These communities focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.
We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our dedicated team within one of our senior living communities. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, their families, and staff. As a Housekeeper, you will perform essential cleaning duties across resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, and wellness areas, ensuring that all spaces meet community and regulatory standards for cleanliness and infection control. The position demands a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards customer service. Working in a senior living community requires adaptability and respect for residents’ rights, along with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
This opportunity offers a chance to be part of a team that lives by the CAPLICO Core Values: Celebration, Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Customer Second (Employee First), and Ownership. These values shape our approach to caregiving, teamwork, and community engagement, fostering a positive work culture that supports both employee wellbeing and resident satisfaction. The Housekeeper will play a key role in upholding these values by ensuring that residents experience a clean and comfortable living environment that promotes their health and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least one to three months of related experience or equivalent training. While professional experience is valued, candidates with the right attitude and commitment to the core values will also be considered. The role requires someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrates dependable attendance, and responds flexibly to shifting demands within the community. Presenting a neat and clean appearance and maintaining confidentiality regarding resident and staff information are also essential aspects of this position.
At The Pennant Group, Inc., we are committed to equal employment opportunities and strive to create an inclusive environment where every individual is respected and valued regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics. This Housekeeper role is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about making a meaningful difference in senior living while growing within a supportive organization that prioritizes both employee and resident needs.
