Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
one year of housekeeping experience preferred
ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment
physical ability to clean high areas using ladders
strong communication skills
ability to respond promptly to resident needs
commitment to infection control practices

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent
one year of experience in a housekeeping role preferred
detail-oriented and thorough
ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents
sufficient ability to read, write, and speak to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously

Job Duties

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, hallways, and other facility areas including outdoor spaces upon request
operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, and related housekeeping equipment
clean vents, fan fixtures, windows, doorframes, and other high areas using a ladder
perform deep cleaning procedures and prepare rooms for new occupants
maintain established infection control and standard precaution practices at all times
respond promptly and courteously to call lights in resident care areas
assist with new admissions, re-admissions, and resident room transfers
communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
