Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds following appropriate safety procedures
- Ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods
- Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain
- Ability to walk and climb stairs, handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level up to 3 feet
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Multiple language fluency is desirable
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
- Inform supervisor of needed supplies
- Maintain all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals
- Remove trash from premises and assist in emergency cleaning
- Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to use
- Maintain friendly and professional attitude
- Maintain the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
- Inspect assigned areas daily and report cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to supervisor
- Ensure adherence to security procedures at all times
- Follow all safety precautions while performing work
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled
- Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition
- Clean restrooms by sweeping and mopping floors, refilling dispensers, and cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters
- Report any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor
- Quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (up to 3 feet)
