Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in long-term care or with geriatric population preferred
- Superior customer service skills and professionalism
- Ability to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- Possess interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- High degree of personal accountability and responsibility
- Strong decision making abilities
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate Trinity Health and Trinity Senior Living Communities mission, vision, values, and guiding behaviors
- Consistently demonstrate sanctuary values to residents, visitors, volunteers, and associates while creating a calm environment
- Execute assignments collaboratively across all divisions within TSLC
- Follow established safety precautions including fire safety when performing tasks and using equipment
- Maintain assigned work areas clean, safe, comfortable, sanitary, and attractive
- Ensure adequate supplies and proper storage of equipment at shift end
- Report lighting malfunctions and perform light bulb replacements as needed
- Clean community areas including windows, mirrors, walls, ceilings, furnishings, fixtures, heating and cooling units, and floors
- Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
- Paint and refinish community furnishings and fixtures as assigned
- Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Perform deep thorough cleaning of rooms including pre-admission and post-discharge cleaning
- Attend and participate in scheduled training and mandatory educational classes
- Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals
