Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to perform tasks requiring sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Availability to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform required mental and physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
