Job Requirements
- Previous experience in environmental services preferable but not essential
- Must have knowledge in the use of cleaning devices such as brooms, mops, buffers and other cleaning equipment
- Must work as scheduled each week, including weekends and holidays
- Must have pre-employment and an annual Tuberculosis screening examination
- Ability to cooperate
- Willingness to work under supervision
- Interest in learning

Job Duties
- Clean and service rooms, baths, lavatories, offices, and facility common areas
- Clean window sills
- Empty trash baskets
- Dust
- Polish
- Sweep
- Mop
- Arrange furniture in an organized fashion
- Wash, dry, fold, and dispense linens and residents clothing
- Return clean linen to the linen storage area promptly
- Return clean residents clothing to the appropriate owner
- Maintain laundry equipment in a clean manner
- Remove lint from dryers
- Ensure tumblers are clean and appropriate
- Ensure processed linens and clothing are clean, wrinkle-free, and appropriate before placing in service
