Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any combination of education training or experience that provides required knowledge skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing removing all trash from guest rooms and dusting polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors air conditioning grills doors windows and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of hotel are up to company standards even if area is not assigned to you
  • Visually inspect guest rooms public areas service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations of policy as well as any guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
