Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to perform tasks involving sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Commitment to uphold company cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing all floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards regardless of specific assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Always provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
