Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • Ability to work in diverse and inclusive team environment
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas
  • Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms and outside surrounding areas
  • Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including sliding doors, A/C grills, and windows
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
