Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- good knowledge of cleaning and laundry procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- tolerance for exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove all trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows
- remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
- visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
