Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and reach upwards
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Tolerance to exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Must follow all policies and emergency procedures of the hotel
- Must wear uniform and nametag
- Must maintain personal cleanliness

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
- Knowledge of operating laundry room dryers and washers desired but not required
- Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
- Good organizational skills
- Teamwork and communication abilities
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and prolonged standing or walking
Job Duties
- Have a good understanding of all of hotels operating procedures
- Be knowledgeable of room types and standards for supplies
- Check the general condition of the room and notify the Housekeeping Supervisor of any malfunction or damage
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, replenish supplies and amenities, inspect and report rooms ready for sale to the front desk all in accordance with hotel’s training and standards
- Dust and clean all furnishings in guest rooms including the television, desk, desk chair, desk lamp/shade, air conditioner unit, headboards, nightstand, wall pictures, wall lamp/shade and window ledge
- Maintain cleaning supplies and the cleaning cart in a safe, organized and presentable fashion
- Ensure prompt and systematic servicing of all guest requests
- Handle guest complaints effectively
- Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly and helpful to guests, managers and all other associates
- Work as a team member
- Be organized and thorough in preparing bedrooms within specified time while respecting internal hotel procedures
- Ensure no service rooms must be approved by inspector or front desk
- Must wear uniform and nametag
- Follow all policies and emergency procedures of the hotel
- Exercise discretion by not disturbing guests
- Perform laundry and public area cleaning
- Maintain personal cleanliness
- Be willing to work flexible hours
- Embrace the mission, values, and vision of the company
- Perform deep cleaning when assigned
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be designated
