Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals proper storage and disposal methods
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to lift and move heavy objects 50 lbs
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms hallways and public areas in the hotel
  • service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
  • stock carts with room supplies and replace bed linens
  • replenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety security procedures
  • conduct deep cleaning activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks as needed
  • report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
  • follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
