Currently, Miraval is seeking a Room Attendant to join their housekeeping team. This role is a vital part of maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that Miraval is known for. The Room Attendant is responsible for thorough upkeep of the guest rooms assigned, ensuring every space aligns with the Miraval Housekeeping standards. This includes reviewing daily room assignments, preparing work supplies, and attending to special requests and VIP needs. The position plays a key role in contributing to the guests’ overall experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment.

The Room Attendant's duties extend beyond basic cleaning; the attendant must be vigilant in reporting maintenance and housekeeping issues, managing lost and found items responsibly, and supporting recycling initiatives. This role requires adherence to grooming and appearance standards, positive teamwork attitudes, and participation in scheduled meetings and training sessions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player with positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Review daily room assignments making note of VIPs departure times turns and special requests
  • Prepare work caddy with supplies ensuring proper chemicals and tools are in hand
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to Miraval Housekeeping standards
  • Restock amenities
  • Report any maintenance issues
  • Report any housekeeping issues such as dirty carpets stains mold etc
  • Ensure lights radio and TV are in working order
  • Turn in and log any lost and found items to security office
  • Place any food and beverage dishes and glasses into the housekeeping closet in appropriate containers
  • Complete any special cleaning tasks
  • Update room status via Hotsos device
  • Attend scheduled meetings and training
  • Adhere to grooming standards at all times
  • Have a positive attitude and work together with co-workers
  • Follow proper recycling procedures
