The Housekeeper role involves performing day-to-day housekeeping functions meticulously and efficiently according to assigned daily work plans. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to clean and maintain furnishings, fixtures, and various surfaces in resident rooms and recreational areas. The responsibilities extend to polishing, sanitizing bathroom fixtures, ensuring spots and water marks are fully removed, and cleaning windows and mirrors throughout the facility. Floors require thorough care, including sweeping, dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing, as well as specialized cleaning of carpets through vacuuming and shampooing to maintain freshness and hygiene. Housekeepers must also be vigilant in cleaning walls and ceilings by scrubbing, deodorizing, and disinfecting to uphold the facility’s cleanliness standards.

The role also expects the housekeeper to handle waste disposal responsibly and maintain cleanliness in vacated rooms, hallways, stairways, and elevators. Proper storage of equipment, tools, and supplies is mandatory to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
