The position offered at Deer Valley Resort is a Flex Year-Round Housekeeper role, which provides an amazing opportunity for those who appreciate the blend of seasonal flexibility and steady employment. This position is vital in maintaining the resort’s high standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a housekeeper at Deer Valley, your main responsibility will be to ensure the satisfaction of guests, members, and employees by delivering thorough housekeeping services and providing a safe environment. You will be entrusted with cleaning homes, condos, and building common areas, and ensuring that these areas meet the resort's rigorous standards. Additional responsibilities include securing properties by locking doors and windows, setting thermometers to seasonal standards (60 degrees in summer, 68 degrees in winter), and closing fireplace flues.
Housekeepers also play an essential role in maintaining inventory supplies and promptly reporting any items that require repair or replacement to management. The job requires a professional and courteous attitude in responding to guest needs, making sure every touchpoint reflects Deer Valley Resort’s commitment to excellence. This role demands physical strength to lift at least 35 pounds and a readiness to adhere to high cleanliness and service standards. Preference is given to bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in both Spanish and English, to better serve the diverse guest base.
Employees enjoy numerous benefits including ski perks that may include a Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other resorts, discounts on family and friends' ski experiences, and free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals during winter months. The resort also offers subsidized meals at employee dining rooms while on shift, subsidized housing options for seasonal full-time staff, and discounts at various local establishments in Park City.
