With over a century of experience, the company has built a strong legacy of commitment to service excellence and employee development. At Delaware North, you become part of a global family that values diversity, career growth, and quality guest experiences.

This job opportunity is located at Wuksachi Lodge in the breathtaking Sequoia National Park, California, a destination famous for its majestic giant redwoods and stunning natural landscapes. The lodge offers guests an immersive experience amidst nature, providing exceptional hospitality services within one of the nation's most prized national parks. Working here means joining a team that is passionate about maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of this unique environment while delivering impeccable service.

The seasonal Housekeeper role at Delaware North Parks and Resorts is pivotal in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the Wuksachi Lodge facilities. This role combines fast-paced daily responsibilities with opportunities for career advancement within the company. Working as a Housekeeper, you will play an essential part in upholding high standards of cleanliness throughout public areas, guest rooms, and meeting spaces, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the lodge.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.99, alongside a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time, year-round team members. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with company match; paid vacation and holidays; paid parental bonding leave; tuition or professional certification reimbursement; and team member discounts. The lodge also provides unique amenities such as low-cost shared dormitory housing with utilities and Wi-Fi, free on-site laundry, and communal cooking areas. The location offers unparalleled opportunities to explore hundreds of miles of hiking trails, caves, mountains, rivers, and lakes.

As a Housekeeper, your daily duties will include thorough cleaning and sanitizing of public areas, restrooms, and guest rooms, emptying wastebaskets, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all linen rooms and workspaces are neat and organized. You will also conduct walk-arounds to monitor and maintain housekeeping standards, interact with guests when necessary, report maintenance issues to supervisors, and log lost and found items diligently. This role demands a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions carefully.

Ideal candidates will have limited to no prior experience, though previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience is preferred. You should be at least 18 years old and possess the physical stamina required for frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds occasionally), and operating various cleaning equipment. Visual acuity to assess cleanliness is also essential.

Working for Delaware North Parks and Resorts at Sequoia National Park means joining an organization that cares deeply about its employees and guests while offering exciting career development opportunities, including the potential to work at other Delaware North locations nationwide.
