Job Description
Greystar is a leading, fully integrated global real estate platform specializing in property management, investment management, development, and construction services aimed at the institutional-quality rental housing sector. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Greystar manages and operates assets exceeding $300 billion across more than 265 markets worldwide, with offices strategically located throughout North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. As the largest operator of apartments in the United States, Greystar oversees the management of over one million apartment units globally. The company was founded in 1993 by Bob Faith with a vision to offer world-class services in the rental residential real estate market. Greystar’s platforms currently manage nearly $79 billion in assets, which include $35 billion in development assets and $36.5 billion in regulatory assets under management. This extensive reach and scale underline Greystar's commitment to excellence, innovation, and quality in real estate management and development.
The role open at Greystar is focused on maintaining the overall cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of vacant apartment homes, leasing offices, and community amenities within the managed properties. The primary responsibility is to ensure that these spaces remain inviting and market-ready, thereby enhancing tenant attraction and retention. This position plays a critical role in supporting property operations by regularly cleaning the leasing office, clubhouse, common-area restrooms, models, amenities, and empty units. Their work includes refreshing these units throughout the day and assisting with make-ready duties when requested by management. Additionally, this role involves safety vigilance by reporting hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors to ensure the welfare of residents, team members, and visitors.
Employees in this position must maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisors when restocking is necessary, ensuring uninterrupted upkeep and maintenance operations. The job requires a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property, reflecting the mobility needed to manage different areas quickly and efficiently. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $17.00 to $19.00, with additional compensation possibilities based on individual, company performance, or through various bonus programs. Greystar also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, paid time off, housing discounts for onsite teams, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, and several other supportive programs. This full-time opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to be part of a reputable and expansive real estate management company committed to employee growth and community excellence.
