Currently, Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking full-time and part-time Housekeepers to join the team at The Westin Buffalo, a four-diamond AAA-rated luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Buffalo, New York. The Westin Buffalo is a prestigious property known for its well-appointed guest rooms, state-of-the-art fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, and distinguished onsite dining options including Patina 250 and Jake's Cafe. Operated by Delaware North, the Westin Buffalo represents the company’s dedication to quality and luxury, offering team members valuable experience in an upscale hospitality setting.
The Housekeeper position plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, public areas, and restrooms while ensuring the presentation and organization of linen rooms and workspaces. The role demands excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive mindset to report maintenance issues and handle lost and found items. You will interact occasionally with guests, enhancing their stay by creating a welcoming environment through your diligent work.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting highly preferred
- previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience preferred
- working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
- ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions
- ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
- no high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms
- empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area
- replenish supplies
- conduct walk-around of assigned areas to ensure the facility meets housekeeping standards
- ensure all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean, and organized
- interact with and assist guests on occasion while cleaning guest and meeting rooms
- report maintenance repair problems to supervisor
- ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily
