Job Requirements
- No formal education required but high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must have basic English literacy to read and follow instructions
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not required
- physical ability to safely lift and carry up to twenty five pounds
- ability to safely ascend and descend ladders unassisted
- ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and crawl as needed
- must have required government issued identification
- willingness to undergo ongoing safety training
- availability to work days, nights, weekends, and on call if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- basic understanding of OSHA safety standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- basic computer literacy
- valid government issued state ID or driver’s license if required
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Practice OSHA standards and company safety policy
- continuing education of safety training as required by company or state and federal law
- complete a hazard assessment form before beginning any task
- utilize a make ready cleaning checklist, complete and turn in to the Community Manager for all apartment homes cleaned
- clean all common areas not less than one time per day
- clean and monitor restrooms for cleanliness and inventory of necessities not less than two times per day
- care, maintenance, and inventory of any and all equipment utilized to properly complete job duties
- frequent no less than one time per day verbal and written communication with supervisor
- report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property, coworkers, or residents
- maintain the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- assist other team members when necessary
