The position is designed to uphold the hospital’s rigorous standards for hygiene and safety, ensuring a spotless environment that helps to reduce the risk of infections and contributes to overall patient safety and satisfaction. This role requires the handling and disposal of both regular and biohazardous waste in a safe and compliant manner. The successful candidate will work diligently to clean and disinfect assigned areas using appropriate equipment and supplies, following established protocols and infection prevention policies.

The individual will operate primarily during the 1st shift with scheduled weekly hours totaling 37.5. While prior experience in hospital cleaning or a related environment is preferred, those with a dedication to quality, safety, and teamwork will find this role rewarding and integral to the hospital’s success. Certified Surgical Cleaning Technicians and those with experience in surgical or clinical settings will have an advantage, although training may be provided to ensure adherence to our high standards.

This role also involves collaborating effectively with colleagues to meet department and hospital-wide needs, maintaining communication about supplies and equipment status, and operating independently when necessary.
