The position offered is that of a Housekeeping Supervisor, a crucial role within the resort's housekeeping department. The successful candidate will support daily housekeeping operations to maintain the resort's high standards of cleanliness, quality, and guest service. This full-time role requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work varied shifts to meet the operational demands of the resort. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a pivotal role in training housekeeping staff on safety, department procedures, and service guidelines to ensure superior performance. They will be responsible for scheduling staff, assigning daily tasks, and conducting inspections of guestrooms and public spaces to uphold hygiene and quality standards. A key aspect of this role entails maintaining inventory levels to ensure housekeeping staff are adequately equipped with tools and supplies. The supervisor will also manage shift-related tasks such as room assignments and reporting, assist in department meetings, communicate maintenance requests to the engineering team, and respond promptly to guest requests to enhance their satisfaction. Additionally, participation in the performance review process and other assigned responsibilities are part of the role’s scope.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role
- Basic computer skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays with the ability to work varied shifts
- Proficient in English with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with guests owners and team members

Job Duties
- Assist in training housekeeping staff including safety security department procedures and service guidelines
- Assist in scheduling staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy assign daily work tasks to employees
- Inspect guestrooms and public areas throughout the resort
- Maintain inventory at appropriate par levels ensure employees have necessary tools and supplies to perform their duties
- Perform shift associated work such as room assignment vacant room discrepancy reports and departure reports
- Assist in all department meetings
- Document and communicate maintenance requests to engineering department to ensure resort service quality standards are met
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist in the performance review process
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
