The supervisor monitors employee performance, adjusts work assignments as needed, and collaborates with contracted cleaning crews to ensure quality standards are met. Job Duties
- Supervises employees engaged in cleaning all hospital areas
- Communicates performance issues and work assignment changes to Manager
- Orders flat linen daily and stocks linen supply room
- Orders supplies from Material Management and monitors inventory of paper products and chemicals
- Trains and precepts housekeepers in performance of duties
- Ensures contracted service crews complete assigned work and meet quality standards
- Performs cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, floor care, and replenishing supplies
- Promotes effective teamwork and displays professional behavior
- Adheres to organizational policies and manages hospital resources effectively
- Performs professional and technical competencies of the assigned unit
