The Housekeeper Supervisor role at 4M Building Solutions is a crucial position within the company that combines hands-on housekeeping duties with leadership responsibilities. This role involves overseeing a team responsible for maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms and public areas through tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and disinfecting bathrooms and common spaces to meet stringent sanitation standards. Supervisors ensure that the team follows company protocols and health guidelines, including those related to social distancing and use of personal protective equipment. While prior management experience is preferred, 4M provides thorough training on its proven processes, creating a pathway for career advancement within the organization. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- no prior janitorial experience required as training is provided
- successful completion of drug screening and background check
- comply with social distancing requirements and safety guidelines
- wear provided company apparel and personal protective equipment as needed
- reliable transportation
- able to work 12:00pm to 8:00pm Monday through Friday
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- able to follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards
Job Duties
- supervise housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- perform dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- clean and disinfect resident rooms and common areas including restrooms
- train team members on company cleaning processes and safety protocols
- ensure compliance with OSHA and social distancing requirements
- monitor use of personal protective equipment and company apparel
- report and communicate with account manager on team performance and issues
