Located in Rochester, NY, this establishment focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness in its premises, including Summit, Wolk Manor, and The Lodge. As a part-time housekeeping team member, the individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that these locations remain attractive and hygienic for residents and visitors alike. The Housekeeper position is essential to the operational success of Summit at Brighton. This role involves performing a variety of routine housekeeping duties across multiple residential and communal areas. The primary responsibility is to clean and service building areas by dusting, mopping, disposing of waste, and polishing fixtures. It also includes preparing apartments at move-in time, ensuring they meet high cleanliness standards by cleaning walls, fixtures, appliances, floors, and carpets thoroughly. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities such as providing laundry services and managing trash removal as directed by the Facility Services Manager. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow oral and written instructions to uphold the facility’s safety and sanitation standards. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience and demonstrate the ability to perform their tasks independently and reliably. Job Duties

  • Perform general assignments in apartments, corridors, and other assigned areas
  • Provide routine cleaning including dusting horizontal surfaces, emptying waste baskets, removing trash, cleaning furniture, cleaning bathroom fixtures, and wet and dry mopping floors
  • Spot clean walls and windows and polish metal surfaces
  • Prepare apartments for move-ins by thoroughly cleaning walls, fixtures, appliances, kitchens, carpets, and bathrooms
  • Provide laundry services as directed by the Facility Services Manager
  • Remove trash from buildings to dumpster as directed
  • Perform all other job duties as assigned
