The Porter position at PBS, located in Santa Clara, CA, offers a vital role in maintaining property cleanliness and supporting building management. This role is designed for individuals who are diligent, respectful, and motivated to contribute to a healthy environment. Scheduled shifts include Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a competitive pay rate of $21.50 per hour. The Porter will focus on cleaning and custodial tasks involving floors, bathrooms, common areas, and more, ensuring a pristine setting for residents, employees, and visitors. The job demands standing for extended periods and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, making physical stamina and endurance important qualities for candidates.

In this role, the Porter performs duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, stripping, buffing, and waxing floors of various types; dusting ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, and furniture; scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen fixtures; emptying trash cans; window washing; and reporting maintenance needs. The Porter also supports building management with additional projects as requested, requiring flexibility, teamwork, clear verbal communication, and accurate report writing.
