Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards
  • report and turn in all lost and found items
  • enter guest rooms following procedures for vacancy and access
  • replace dirty linens and towels with clean items
  • make beds and fold towels
  • clean bathrooms
  • replace guest amenities and supplies
  • remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
  • check that all appliances are present and functional
  • straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
  • dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • organize and stock cleaning cart and linen closets
  • perform other duties as requested such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests
  • report and communicate maintenance needs
  • assist other housekeeping associates in maintaining cleanliness of work and public areas
  • anticipate customer needs and adapt quickly
  • maintain customer service and excellent relations with guests, visitors, vendors, and internal organizations
  • comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • meet standards for room completion with quality results
