The role being offered is a full-time, non-exempt Custodian position primarily responsible for cleaning and maintaining all campus buildings and common areas at the Albany or Troy campuses, including the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences campus. Employees in this role work approximately 40 hours per week for 52 weeks annually and are compensated at an estimated wage rate of $16.20 per hour. This position requires hands-on custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, managing waste, and utilizing cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical. The custodian will operate under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, Crew Coordinator, or Senior Director of Facilities and may be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.
