Job Requirements
- high school diploma, ged or equivalent experience preferred
- ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning including ir, cardiac cath, mother-baby, nicu, or or
- ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- ability to lift and transport patients in emergencies
- physical stamina for standing, squatting, bending and lifting supplies weighing 35 lbs or more up to 80% of the time
- ability to climb ladders
- ability to wear protective clothing and equipment
- valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of insurance
- no prior experience required

- knowledge of safety and cleaning protocols

Job Duties
- clean and sanitize occupied spaces including patient units, office areas, clinics, and treatment/procedural areas
- remove refuse and soiled linens
- operate cleaning equipment to maintain floors and surfaces
- follow safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
- assist in patient transport in case of emergencies
- maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
- report maintenance or safety issues promptly
