  • Prior housekeeping experience
  • ability to walk entire campus
  • ability to push heavy cleaning equipment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift minimum 50lbs
  • ability to assist in evacuations

  • Prior housekeeping experience preferably in a similar facility
  • ability to walk entire campus
  • ability to push heavy cleaning equipment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift minimum 50lbs
  • ability to assist in evacuations
  • strong interpersonal skills with courteous and helpful attitude
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Follow proper cleaning procedures
  • transfer to PC or HCC units in emergencies
  • maintain courteous and helpful attitude toward residents, guests, and co-workers
  • work in homes with animals
  • keep work areas clean, safe and orderly
  • report safety or housekeeping issues to supervisor
  • complete tasks assigned by housekeeping director or supervisor
  • attend staff meetings and participate in training seminars
  • perform to standards of DOH, OSHA and DPW
