Job Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience
ability to walk entire campus
ability to push heavy cleaning equipment
ability to stand for long periods
ability to lift minimum 50lbs
ability to assist in evacuations

Job Qualifications

Prior housekeeping experience preferably in a similar facility
ability to walk entire campus
ability to push heavy cleaning equipment
ability to stand for long periods
ability to lift minimum 50lbs
ability to assist in evacuations
strong interpersonal skills with courteous and helpful attitude
knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

Follow proper cleaning procedures
transfer to PC or HCC units in emergencies
maintain courteous and helpful attitude toward residents, guests, and co-workers
work in homes with animals
keep work areas clean, safe and orderly
report safety or housekeeping issues to supervisor
complete tasks assigned by housekeeping director or supervisor
attend staff meetings and participate in training seminars
perform to standards of DOH, OSHA and DPW
