Our goal is to uphold a clean and organized environment that promotes healing and well-being for all patients and staff alike. The facility values professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork, fostering a culture where every employee plays a crucial role in contributing to the overall health and safety standards.
The Housekeeping Attendant role is essential within our facility as it focuses on environmental cleaning and disinfecting to maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition. This position involves performing a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces. The primary working hours for this role are from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, with occasional coverage required during day shifts. This is a vital support position that helps reduce the risk of infection and contamination, ensuring that all areas meet our strict sanitation protocols. The role demands diligence, reliability, and the ability to follow established cleaning methods rigorously.
As a Housekeeping Attendant, the individual is responsible not only for cleaning but also for maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order. This includes routine checks and proper handling to avoid equipment breakdowns and ensure that all tasks can be performed efficiently. Attention to detail is critical, as soiling or overlooked areas can affect the health environment significantly. The role may also require performing periodic or situational duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, highlighting the need for flexibility and cooperation. This position is ideal for individuals who have completed high school or equivalent; it suits those who are detail-oriented, possess basic literacy skills, and have previous experience in environmental or hospital cleaning services. Through their efforts, the Housekeeping Attendant contributes directly to the health, safety, and comfort of patients and staff within the facility.
