Currently, Texas Health Dallas is seeking dedicated housekeeping professionals for PRN (as needed, occasionally) positions during daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including weekends. These roles are critical in maintaining the hospital’s high standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control, which directly contribute to the health and recovery of patients.

As a Housekeeper at Texas Health Dallas, you will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas according to strict procedures that meet established infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines. The role involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, removing trash and dirty linens, cleaning sinks, commodes, countertops, showers, and beds. You will also replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or assigned areas to ensure work readiness for subsequent services periods. This position demands attentiveness to detail, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to manage various assignments in a fast-paced and high-volume department. Job Duties

  • Clean assigned area(s) according to procedure to meet established infection control, sanitation and safety guidelines
  • replenish supplies on housekeeping carts or in assigned areas to prepare work area for next service period
  • responsible for keeping all equipment clean and reporting all broken equipment to the supervisor
  • perform other related duties as assigned
