Currently, QSL Management is hiring for a Housekeeper position at The Barclay House of Baton Rouge. This role is integral in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the facility. Housekeepers play a key role in ensuring that all resident and common areas meet rigorous cleanliness standards, which directly impacts the overall well-being and comfort of the seniors living there. The Housekeeper is responsible for performing routine cleaning duties in various areas of the facility including resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways. They are expected to use appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies according to established procedures and state regulations to ensure safety and efficacy. Additionally, the role involves using and maintaining cleaning equipment properly, responsibly handling trash and hazardous waste by transporting it to designated disposal areas, and replenishing supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.

Job Duties
- assure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
- perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways
- utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
- use and maintain equipment properly
- transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area
- replenish supplies as required
