The position of Maintenance Technician at Courtyard by Marriott involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance across guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and safety. This role is integral to maintaining the quality and appearance of rooms by inspecting and repairing mattresses, box springs, bed frames, upholstery, and carpets as part of routine care. Maintenance technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks including touch-up painting, furniture repairs, light fixture replacements, and grout and caulking inspections. They also address minor repairs such as tightening loose fixtures, changing light bulbs, and patching holes, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and overall property upkeep.

Safety is a top priority in this position; maintenance technicians must adhere strictly to company safety and security procedures, report any hazards or accidents immediately, and complete required safety training and certifications. The role requires physical stamina, as it involves bending, twisting, lifting weights up to 50 pounds or more with assistance, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
