Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in environmental services or related field
- Prior cleaning experience required
- Experience in healthcare or hospitality settings preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols
- Must comply with mandatory vaccination policies or obtain exemption
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Prior cleaning experience
- 2 years work in environmental services in lieu of education
- Experience in hospitality or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to learn and perform diverse cleaning functions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods
- Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and arrange repairs when necessary
- Observe and report the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures
- Account for cleanliness and neat appearance of assigned areas
- Follow department and hospital policies and procedures
- Learn other functions or positions to ensure satisfactory operation of the department/work unit or to permit flexible staffing assignments
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment and to perform duties and meet deadlines in a timely manner
