As one of the leading rehabilitation hospitals in the Central Valley, our facility combines advanced medical technologies, evidence-based therapies, and compassionate patient care to promote healing and improve quality of life. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes in a comfortable and encouraging environment, featuring private patient rooms and fully equipped therapy gyms. Accredited and honored among the nation's top rehabilitation centers, Central California Rehabilitation Hospital serves as a beacon of hope and recovery within the community.
We are excited to welcome a Housekeeper to our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role is pivotal in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment essential for patient healing and staff efficiency. The Housekeeper position is offered on a PRN (pro re nata or as-needed) basis, mainly covering weekend shifts with additional weekday fill-ins as necessary, providing flexibility for individuals seeking part-time opportunities in a rewarding healthcare setting. The compensation for this role ranges between $23.00 and $28.21 per hour, reflective of the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
The Housekeeper will perform essential cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and replenishing supplies, ensuring all hospital areas such as patient rooms, therapy gyms, equipment, and common spaces meet our rigorous standards for safety and cleanliness. An understanding of healthcare-specific environmental services procedures is preferred, along with the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff to uphold a sterile and organized facility. Strong organizational skills, effective communication, confidentiality, and a commitment to health and safety standards are critical in this role.
Joining Central California Rehabilitation Hospital means becoming a part of the Ernest Health family, which values employee wellness, recognition, and retention. Employees benefit from comprehensive health plans including PPO and high deductible options, dental and vision coverage, 401K matching, life insurance, and disability protections. Programs like the Employee Assistance Program and wellness challenges create an engaging and supportive workplace. We believe in listening to our employees through initiatives such as the Engagement Survey and 'My Ernest Journey,' fostering a culture where team members feel valued and heard.
