Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- experience performing essential cleaning functions desirable
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and balance
- ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- positive attitude and ability to work independently
- willingness to follow safety protocols

Job Duties
- Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the facility
- uses cleaning cart to transport supplies
- cleans and disinfects resident rooms and bathrooms
- cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas
- wipes and dusts surfaces and cleans mirrors
- vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes
- removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets
- places and neatly tucks clean sheets and replaces pillowcases
- stocks towels and washcloths in bathrooms
- picks up and empties trash containers
- checks rooms for unauthorized food items and reports found items
- maintains floors safe and clear of obstructions
- loads washers and dryers and folds linens as needed
- uses housekeeping supplies efficiently
- assists in care of housekeeping equipment and reports malfunctions
- notifies maintenance of any issues
