- Experience performing housekeeping duties is desirable

Job Duties
- Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout the facility
- Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies
- Cleans and disinfects resident rooms and bathrooms
- Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas
- Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors
- Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes
- Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets
- Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds and replaces pillowcases
- Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms
- Picks up and empties trash containers
- Checks room for food articles and remove unauthorized items (report and turn in items found)
- Maintains floors safe and clear of obstructions (residents' belongings, supplies/equipment, etc.)
- Loads washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as needed
- Uses housekeeping supplies efficiently
- Assists in proper care of housekeeping equipment
- Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor
- Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly
- Performs other duties as assigned
