The role of a Housekeeper at HCSG is integral to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within a long-term care facility.   • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies

  • Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Able to work around cleaning products
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions
  • Residency within the service area required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership

Job Duties

  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests providing excellent customer service
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
