Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours
- Willingness to adhere to strict infection control protocols
- Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Effective interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous hospital experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail

Job Duties
- Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the environmental services department
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner
- Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions
- Participates in performance improvement activities
- Maintains compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
